1. Pharaoh - Ancient Egyptian game, like SimCity.
2. Clash of Clans - IOS/Android - Build a village and defend it.
3. Minecraft- Sandbox game with little/no goal other than development.
4. Plants vs Zombies - Defend your lawn from zombies.
5. Settlers of Catan - Like minecraft but there is a goal.

1. Ceasar III - Trap those wolves and use gateways.
2. Pharaoh - Build pyramids. Better fight system.
3. Medieval Total War - An upgrade to Shogun Total War. Many mods.
4. Scourge of War - Amazing game. Be a general.
5. Commander : The Great War/Panzer Corps. Wargame with positional advantages and fronts.

5. ME Trilogy : Beautiful cinematics and storytelling.

4. Total War Series : Slaughter a Suebi, cut down Nobunaga or have a long beard.

3. Steam FPS Games : Actually feature tactical gameplay.

2. AI War : Like Ender's Game, but you start out from the end and severely disadvantaged like the intro scene with that heroic commander.

1. CIV iv : DLC makes it a much broader game, offering new and previously unexplored options, whilst the base game has a load of content too (that said, death stacks totally ruin warfare for me ): )

I'm showing my age a bit with this, but to this day my favorite video game of all time is Super Mario 64. It was the first video game I ever owned, and I've played through it probably 7 times now. I just love the gameplay, so simple yet so exciting. I could play the whole thing through 100 times and not get tired of it

Best game ever was and still is Deadly Games - Jagged Alliance, simply because it's the funniest multiplayer game I've played so far. I've seen keyboards and (!) monitors hitting the wall during JA-sessions. And yes, I am showing my age here, too.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2- Sounds childish but that game was so damn good and now my disc won't work :( Advanced Warfare is alright but I can't play more than an hour without getting bored
GBA Pokemon- Love nuzlockes and other challenges
