@melody I have no idea what you are talking about "spam"

I did *exactly* what Fizzer asks. Post my suggestions with a link to an example game.

So what you talking about?

Iirc, you already posted those exact templates before.
So Tacky is probably referring to that.

(That being you posting the templates twice rather than just editing your original post.)

Bomb AD (Small Earth Map)
MEAD

MEAD has a game link on the previous page, but Bomb AD is something you will need to find an example game for.

@platinum
I wish I was more active and submitted a better 2v2 template for this clan war vote then
2v2 Kabix. Now we have a situation where a minority of open game time wasting morons could get a quite awful template into clan wars.

Awful? You know what is awful? Strat 2v2 is horrible. It's so difficult a template that only the most elite can play it well. That is awful.
I will never have a chance to master it, it is so complicated.

OTOH, Kabix, Hanebu are local deploy games where the math is such that more people can master the fundamentals. They are so good! (ie, not awful) that they both have HUGE vote counts on quickmatch.

It's a nice reminder to players submitting templates that cause your template is something you enjoy doesn't necessarily mean it's a healthy template in a competitive format and force everyone to play it.

Noboody is forced to play any template they don't like. The people that play can and should choose the templates that are in the competitive environment.

Next you will want to get rid of SEAD, the most popular template on CW.

@jk-3 i would have edited my original posts to add the templates if it were not for the open hostility in the downvotes. I didnt even see the original posts. Anyways. -- clearly not spam.

By this same logic, Tic-Tac-Toe is a better game than Chess, get serious.

No, that’s not the same logic at all

You’re comparing an infantile game to a game that is at least 10 orders of magnitude more complicated, in terms of possible moves.

A better comparison we be to compare checkers to chess.

But I will note that for the record and for everyone to see you did not refute my contention that Strat to V2 is too complicated for most people that played this game

@Pink Buddha: Since this is your first post to this thread, may I ask where that contention is located?

EDIT:
Since you replied to something Doctor K said as "my", am I right in just assuming your his alt?

EDIT 2:
Looks like you just left Harmony, so I'll take that as a yes.

Doctor K/Pink Buddha in the last 10 posts he has:

  • Spammed 3 messages which could've been done as one.
  • Gets called out by a moderator and proceeds to argue against the moderator about said violation. Moderators obviously don't know the rules right?
  • Thinks a local deployment, gift, autodistribution template is easier to play then a 1v1 ladder styled team template
  • Makes up points in his head as counter points that aren't relevant, is he talking to himself? Nobody mentioned SEAD or 2v2 MME.
  • Forgets to log out of his alt hidden in Harmony before posting on this thread and gets kicked out.

    Genius 2v2 Kabix player.

It was the most exaggerated example to get my main point across, that adding extra layers of complexity generally make games better. It allows the most skilled players to really separate themselves from not just average, but even great players. With too much simplicity, mastering a game becomes a lot easier, and as a result, it's not as prestigious of an accomplishment.

A better comparison we be to compare checkers to chess.

You are deflecting, but I'll humor you anyway, is Checkers a better game than Chess?

No one refuted this because it is irrelevant, a template being too complicated to master for most players is generally a good thing. Strategic 2v2 is generally simple to learn how to play, on the other hand. All the same general principles of Strategic 1v1, which itself is one of the most popular templates, can be translated over to Strategic 2v2.

Amazing to me is how many people are afraid of changing the templates on clan wars

Even if they’re hugely popular, some people, and I mean certain elites, like the games they like and don’t want any other games in there

And they resort to hostile things such as downvoting games they don’t like

Up all you want when the votes are counted, we see what games are being played in clan wars. And I hope that we can vote out horrible templates like Strat 2v2.

Some awesome 1v1 suggestions by Tornado and team suggestions by Octane!

Octane also has a 1v1 template tier list, some missing A-Tier templates from Tornado’s list would be:

Great Lakes: https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=35516549
Laketown: https://www.warzone.com/MultiPlayer?GameID=37398668
Strategic Greece (Rento nominated it)
