I don't see why the BBC had to cancel this weekend's episode because of this. They've already shot the films. The BBC could either wait for them to film the parts in the studio to suspend him or let James and Richard do the studio parts by themselves for 1 episode.

@Clement They took it off air hoping that people would support the BBC. They sit far too high on their throne.

They've been looking to remove JC for years. He sold his rights to Top Gear a few years back, now they just needed an excuse.
