proposed "maximum average time for a real-time turn" as an open seat prerequisite for games you create.
But doesn't the "acceptable" time to take a turn depend on the kind of game you are playing?
Like, the time needed for a turn on a 3000-territory map with local deployment on is obviously longer than the time needed for a turn on small earth.
And someone who often plays 3000-territory local deployment
could be very fast on small earth, but their average turn time would be high.
But the setting you are looking for already exists! The game already
has a limit to how much time people can take for their turn: it's called the boot timer.
If you don't want to play against people who take 3 minutes for their turn... why not just set the boot timer at 2?
