Fizzer, you should look in Civilization IV gameplay mod "Caveman 2 Cosmos". It's one of the best, covers everything from Prehistoric to modern day and then goes into space age future. It's way more fun than modern Civilization games.

Can I gift/trade artifacts with other players in Idle?

Not everyone reads Feature Forum. Maybe you could send vote notifications like you did with Clan Wars new templates? This might help you get more input on what features should be implemented next. Might be helpful when you're undecided on what to do next.
