I don't recommend doing it. The mapmakers here are real nitpickers.

It took me 4 hours to make a poorly drawn map with around 30 territories. A time waste.

^Wow, way to lump all of us in together. I'd say don't do it unless you are committed to doing it well. It doesn't have to be artistic, but don't make it sloppy either or people won't play it.

And it is hard to start out. Takes some patience but the more you do it the better you get. The order in which you do things matters a lot, and saves a lot of time.
