I've heard many people request knockout style team competitions in the past and decided to see if anyone would be interested in playing one. To make it interesting I decided to include a 10k coin prize for the winner (divided amongst the winners).

Each team requires 4-7 players, and can be made up of any players from any clan (or no clan). You will just message your team name, and your list of players either here or in a mail thread to me. (please include profile links)
I'll take as many teams as we can, but the amount of teams determine the exact format.

FORMAT
The tournament will consist of a swiss style tournament until 8 teams make it through, from there it's a knockout 8 team playoff. Last team standing wins.

SWISS STAGE - Best of 3 (No team templates)
KNOCKOUT ROUND 1 - Best of 3 (No team templates)
KNOCKOUT ROUND 2 - Best of 5
FINALS - Best of 7

TEMPLATES
Templates being played will be voted on by the teams before going into their matches. The lone exception being Swiss stage, where teams will rank the templates from favorite to least favorite to select the templates against each others list. (This is to prevent from having to set up 20 to 30 pick/ban chats.) There will be 7 available templates to pick in the Swiss Stage and Round 1. It will go up to 11 on round 2, and include one team template (which can be vetoed). The Finals will go up to 15, and will include 2 team templates to choose from.

Knockout Round 1 - Team A vs. Team B
Team A bans Strat ME
Team B bans Blitzkreig Bork
Team A selects Timid Lands
Team B selects Guiroma
Team A bans Volcano Islands
Team B bans Biomes of America
French Brawl remains.

Timeline starts sometime after CL starts to prevent any major overlap. Preferably looking for 16 teams. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
