The poll says USA, still if you ask Obama he'll say that USA is standing on the guard of Democracy.American Empire is worse than Soviets were.

All I'm saying is if America fell , Americans would basically turn into Mongols with tanks.......... tanks that go 70 miles a hour and are the most advanced in the world.........

Invading the USA would be ........ a hell in some places Texas : every town is a death trap filled with snipers, IEDs, occasionally some RPGs. it'd be hell out in the open as well in the summer, 100 degrees Fahrenheit accompanied by wolves,coyotes,rattlesnakes, scorpions, rednecks, buzzards.
Four military bases around San Antonio if I remember correctly, that'd make that town a hell.
Austin...... well it's the most liberal place in Texas they might welcome you.

Should of let Saddam Hussein stay in power, he was a just ruler. Let Gaddafi have his spot too.

The fact is it wasn't only about beheading these governments but destroying all the structures of these countries, bringing chaos without any possibility to rebuild as it was before. As french i'm pretty ashamed my country took part of this. The truth is France, as many other countries, with the cowardice and the complicity of a corrupt elite progressively became an american's vassal state with all the counterparties it implies.

To be honnest, France didn't need USA to do some shit in the past, specially in our old sphere of influence in Africa but now the scale is really higher and the mess spreads up everywhere. The worst thing is that human rights are used to sell the wars. Bombing and killing in the name of human rights is something that is beyond me.

These are a few facts and statistics about military conflicts after the WW2. USA started 201 out of 248 with casualties up to 30 millions deads. It says something right?

About the topic:

Although there is no doubt that the USA has its fair share in wars and conflicts I don`t think it is the greatest threat. This is for the simple reason that the USA together with its allies is so much more powerfull it can almost always do what it want. Whether they do a good thing or a bad thing doesn`t matter, other countries often can`t intervene or do something about it. This makes them less of a threat. I`m not saying they are doing the right things, nor am I saying that everything they tell us about these topics is right. Their power is to big to be a real threat though.

It is countries like Russia, China or Iran which are far more dangerous. Not because they are commies or because they are muslim (or whatever stupid reasons the governments give) but simply because they threaten the USA and Europe to lose their first position. They are very powerfull and the western countries don`t like it. They`ll try to protect their spot as most powerfull and most important countries.

So therefore I think that there isn`t one country or one side thats the threat. The "eastern" countries will cause the western countries to take action. The will to be better than everybody else, to stay at the top, is more of a threat than one country is. But who is to blame then? Is it the countries at the top, taking actions to protect their spot. Or should you blame the countries that push them to take these actions?

LOL at the Anerican trying to help arguement. Since when has the USA ever intervened in a country which required aid and didn't have anything the USA were interested in. Want an example? Sri Lankan Civil War, specifically it's bloody end. Both sides accused of war crimes, yet no action taken by the international police force. But when an oil rich country has the whiff of WMDs, Uncle Sam must invade!

All of them. The world wont be safe until we're all united under one flag, no matter who's flag it is. (I gotta say, if we had to choose somebody to rule us all, the Canadians, Swedish, or Norwegians are our best bet)
