I've gotten a few SA on my belt, gotten familiar with Hex Earth and looked at both Seven Years War and Thirty Years War. They both have a lot of army caches at the beginning enabling a quick start, but there's no clear strategy evident on a minimal number of IMs. They have enough AP to make me curious.

I know very few people have done these levels, but I'm curious if it's at all worth it, what is a decent path to take, and what artifacts are considered needed.

I'm close to where you are in terms of SA, so I figured this might be relevant to you (I have had enough AP to get my third SA, but I've been working on getting my third Insane artifact before I do).

I've played all of the "new" levels a few times, just because I enjoy playing. You can read elsewhere, but the AP doesn't warrant farming them much. So from my perspective, worth the time if you like new challenges and get bored going through the same levels, but not worth it if you get frustrated with your progress slowing.

I have not unlocked SuperCamp, so I tend to use powers in the beginning of the levels to get myself going. Superpower IM is great when you find a big merc camp. And that typically helps me close out levels.

https://pkmx.github.io/wzi-levels/ is a helpful resource. And I know I have seen walkthroughs for these levels, but can't find them offhand.

Yes, that's an amazing site, just saying even with its map and info it's still not clear at all how to proceed.

With super power inspire mercenary on big camps.
And go to the big army cach. In hex earth, it is in siberia.

You can start and abort them for 700-1500 AP each in a few minutes. If you want to clear them then they are not worth it just do hex.

I have finished 7y war w/o active artifacts or powers but requires several insane artifacts and ages tying to decipher all those 1500 territories bonuses to keep going w/o powers. In the time it took to clear it I could have done hex 8+ times lol.

30y war is even worse since after grabbing all army caches except the 6 that are bonuses that contain 99% of the troops you are left with a few billions (~50b) when the last 6 cache require trillions to capture, and markets are in a bonus that require trillions too. From what I remember I used all my troops to barely grab 3 cheap neighbors of a top 5 merc camp (had like 0 troops left) and triple strike it and then used an IM arti on it and that was enough to grab 1 of the 6 caches and grab the rest to roll the map.

Issue is that you need to be deep into phase 4 for both and the AP spent for this is already enough to super ascend. It also requires MD artifact, most passive cache artifacts, and 2-3 of sell value artifacts at insane. By the time you got all this you would be around 70-100 supers and can most likely super with just hardened levels.

Thanks, yes I have been getting the easy AP after Hex Earth before ascending, I just wanted to know if they were reasonably possible at all without all the artifacts you mention. As I've only SA'd 4 times, I don't have MD or any passive artifact other than AV.

They're mess of levels with the maps jumping all across the world in weird ways. Not easy ones to decifer.

Anyway, thanks, I figured someone who's SA'd 40+ times would know when it's worth doing.

I consider these 2 levels the 2 hardest in idle. People always complain about Trisk and Hard Trisk but they are a cake walk compared to these two levels. To be fair hard Trisk is the hardest of the old levels but yea this is unrelated to the topic.

I will run out of SL around SASc 25. A that point I plan on farming the post SASc level for more and those two levels will be the very last ones I'll get to. But basically they seems useful only to get the powers you need once you are deep in the game and have run out of alternatives. Not worth finishing them unless you enjoy the challenge.

Draining SL/IM from 30y war is ridiculous easy with army cache surfing (<3 minutes required). FYI the powers are NE of the starting army camp, in the territories near St. Petersburg.

Draining from 7y is a bit harder since the SL is kinda far away, and it takes much longer to get started.
