Hey everyone. Do me and yourself a favor. Blacklist Versatile. He wins by booting.

In a game, which was almost over. He booted me when I was clearly there, playing. I had almost 93 troops, he had 40, and the other guy, I dont know. Anyway, he booted right at the 5 min mark, while I was typing something to both of the mand while I was committing my turn.

BLACKLIST VERSATILE!!!

THANKS!

I understand this, but it should not happen when I already waited numerous times for Versatile to take his turn after the 5 min mark.

I try to be patient with people. When they are clearly there and just taking a few extra mins, then who really cares? To boot to win is ridiculous.

In some games, when you have 80 plus troops, it can take a few mins to take your turn. I was literally hitting the commit button as he booted me. It hit 5 mins as I hit commit and as he hit boot.

Again, blacklist Versatile for him impatience.

Gotta agree about versatile.

Played a 1v1 with him in which I completely curb stomped him. Instead of surrendering he goes afk. I decided to wait, yano be a good sport and not boot right away. I guess 20min went by he comes back takes his turn and since I wasn't paying attention while waiting for him he boots me right on the 5minute mark.

He tried to do the same thing again to me in a tourney match fvcker >:U

It sounds like he is quite versatile when it comes to booting methodology.

I agree about versatile, add Kalhorn to that list as well. Wow, he's bragging that he won by lying on truce with two people in one game. Not a fun person to play

sounds like Kalhorn uses diplomacy, but i would need to know details of whether or not that was truly bad, and not merely underhanded.

Most definitely malicious and bad sportsman, I agreed to the truce only if we would warn 1 turn in advance not to attack. And also, in the middle of the game Kalhorn accused another play of breaking a truce and everyone ganged up on him and defeated him, it turned out that Kalhorn was lying. Immediately after elimanating the player, Kalhorn then attacked me at all over our borders. I was half the board, and I lost about half my upkeep. I understand being deceptive, but it's not fun playing with people like that. After an hour of play, everyone just surrendered because the game was too messed up and we felt bad that we had ganged up on the innocent.

also called diplomacy.

rule # 1 of war

"he who won fought fair"

remember that whenever your pm'ing someone truces
it was said, during WWII, the german Diplomats were on the phones with russia telling them it was a mistake and that the german armies entering their borders had merely lost their way... just to buy themselves time and conceivably victory.

the only truce that should have defenseless borders is a team.

while i personally don't like this type of strategy, it is that.. strategy.
underhanded yes. malicious, not necessarily, he wanted to win, and did, in fact, i think I'd rather play with a combination of people like that and other types of people, to add a more realistic feel to the game... make it feel more like a war simulation.
