Thoughts on doing 2 tournaments on Tuesdays?

Can have a primarily EU/Asia time slot, then an Americas time slot. If coins are an issue, cut the coin reward in half for each.

Those who can do both are free to join each slot. May reduce the overall player pool for each individual tournament, but might increase the overall number of participants for Titled Tuesdays.

If streaming is a thing, you could have 2 separate streamers or if someone is around for both, go for both.

Idk how you'd do template choice, could either just have consensus between the two winners, do a coin flip between the two winners choices, or have a different template for each time slot. The different template would maybe encourage double participation in regions/circumstances where it is feasible.

Obviously I'd like this since 4PM EST is tough for me, but I'd say give the current 1 and done model a few more tries, see if we are retaining player volume/interest, and then if so experiment with a double slot to see if we get more/less players.

Can you maybe change the hour to 1 am at New York ? It make the hour at 7 am in France, so it would be better to play.

I'm afraid that timing will hardly work for anyone (even if I assume you mean pm) who has a job. We might move the timing around a bit in the future, but by more than an hour would cost either nearly all participants from America or nearly all from Europe.

Making it impossible for either most Americans or most Europeans to play will highly decrease the competitive value of the tournament. Therefore, splitting it in halves is not an option for me. Any time we can possibly pick will not work for a number of people, that's unavoidable in a RT format.

Sadly no luck in that template, only the addition of randomness in move order and rounding. Hoping for luck in a future one!

You enjoy Multi-Attack, MetalGear, lucky outcomes don't seem to be a problem for you. Maybe give Weighted Random another chance?

Best of luck! The competition in the first tournament has been fierce, but I expect it to increasingly become somewhat more laid back. Inaugural editions get a lot of attention, but few people will be able to play at a specific time every single week.

As I mentioned before to Dan, the vast majority of players prefers to play RT on weekdays, hence I chose a weekday to maximize the number of participants.
