We badly need a way to track our friends. I cannot remember all the people I've played with, but I'd like to play with them again. Agree?

U mean something like a friendlist?
I actually play with 3 good friends together and all of them are in my invite-section if I want to invite someone. Maybe a Friendlist with included Private Message Center?
I think it's a bit over the top.

By default, your invite list includes eeryone you've played with.

I agree. There should be a list other than the list of ALL people you have ever played with. I list which could be edited at any time, remove/add players.

The invite list can be edited at any time - both adding and removing players. Please clarify exactly what you would like to see out of a friends list that the invite list doesn't give you.

> I got some 300 people on my invite list...and would have maybe 30-35 on my friends list...it isn't worth the hassle of sorting through 300+ names
So you just want your friends to show up at the top of your invite list? If you had the ability to sort your invite list, would that give you the same thing?
I'm not trying to pick hairs, I just want to understand exactly what you expect to get out of a friends list. The reason it's important I know is because if I implemented a friends list but didn't do anything except write "friend" next to their name, it wouldn't get you anything - I doubt that's what you want. In some way, you want friends to behave differently than non-friends, yet you haven't told me what that behavior difference should be.

I think a friend list should be separate from the invite list. The invite list is nice and all, as it's cool to see who I have played with the most, etc. But as Perrin mentioned, I'd be much more likely to use a specific friend list which only lists people who I have explicitly marked as friends. The way I envision it, when creating games you would then be able to switch back and forth between viewing your invite list and your friends list.

Not to make this any more confusing... Well I guess I am, lol. Maybe the friends list could also include a "who's logged in now" function. Maybe this already exists...?
