I've had cases where I wanted to play one quickmatch, but ended up in two simultaneously. Because sometimes it takes very little time to do my turn. So I go back to the multiplayer dashboard to see if any of my multi-day games progressed. After doing a turn there I want to continue quickmatch. So I press the quickmatch button. But this starts a new game, instead of continuing the previous game. Please either show a button with my current quickmatch game or just cause the quickmatch button to continue the previous game.

Your current QM game is already displayed on your multi player dashboard.

If I remember correctly, there are no build-in filters that hide unfinished RT games, so besides you not noticing the game on your MP dashboard, I don't quite see what the problem is here?

Either way, if you want to have the QM screen list all your active RT QM games, you need to create a feature request for it: https://www.warzone.com/Forum/f12-Feature-Requests

But then the opponent might not have completed their turn yet, so you don't notice. Thanks for the link, could not find it myself. Made a feature request there.
