It's been a year since we got Kabix into QM and it has done extremely well. It is now #10 on QM Voting, which is 2nd of all the voteable templates (not fixed). Sometime around Spring last year a few 1v1 alternatives started popping up. The most popular one has been "BK" (the version w 5 starts).

I have added the "BK | 1v1 | 0 income | commanders" template to Quickmatch Voting. Currently, it's on page 10 with 3 votes and I'll add some updates as we progress.

It took us two and a half weeks to get Kabix in and I'm sure we can do BK in less time.

Share with friends and if there are any objections I'm sure we'd all love to hear.

Social engineering? People like the game so they vote for it. It took 'Kabix' 74 votes to get into QM. It's gained over 100 votes since then because it's a popular template and people who play it like it and wanna play it more. It's just a good template.

Well, there are some people in the world that have to hate.
They can't be happy with what they have. They have to make everyone else around them, unhappy
They look for things to hate
If someone else is enjoying something, they try to put the kibosh on it
Otherwise, disparage them, personally.

Maybe they should change their name to H8-TR.

They live a lot longer if they just relax and let others be themselves and enjoy themselves

According to QuickMatch -- BK is now super popular.
I asked for 5 multi-day quickmatch, and all 5 BK filled before even a single MME Commanders.

So right now BK "burger king" is FAR more popular than MME Commanders.

Yes it's really popular. Even some naysayers have turned their tune. And some players who habitually only play 1 or 2 templates have given it a chance.

It's something about these commander games. Kabix was the first popular cdr game to rise up after making cdr games available to everyone and not just members.

I'm really grateful for the Kabix community for showing up for BK. It took 2 days to get it into Quickmatch and currently it's on the 1st page at rank 17

What does BK even stand for?

It's the least descriptive template name I've ever seen.

I stand with TR-8R as well, using the same map over and over gets really repetitive. The weird settings are just the cherry on top.

Warzone equivalent of AI slop

This game is WILDLY popular on quickmatch.

I cant stand Strat 2v2 but i can play BK and Kabix pretty well.

BK is just the name of the player who originated the template. In Spring 2023 you no longer needed to be a member to create a game with commanders in it. Kabix a 2v2 game with commanders rose from this. The name Kabix is literally just a player who put his name as the template. Like Paultec. I don't know if Kabix originated the template (there's been some debate) but that's what stuck and that's what we call it.

There had been many iterations of Kabix including 3v3s and 1v1s and a few different players that would try out various alternatives. I don't know if BK was the first to do this template but they put their name on it and we all started recycling that template spring last year.

I just saw how these games are really popular and how people are playing and starting so many of them everyday, there's literally always a game up and the community is big, also it's not that hard to learn and teach noobs, and the more familiar players are quite patient with noobs for the most part, so I thought others might enjoy it too that's why I put them on Quickmatch. It wasn't to take space from anyone else.

To those who "stand with TR-8R" we actually played a BK game together on Quickmatch and he said he was giving it a chance. Maybe you should too.

But yea also what Doc says.... if you don't like it just don't play it.

But I do respect y'alls opinions which is why I started this thread. To be honest it was meant to be for the Kabix/BK community but it seems some of you have very strong opinions.

We had a thread like this when we got Kabix into QM but there wasn't this much opposition, especially from outsiders.
