Hi,

I would love to be able to play on the Strategic 2v2 Final Earth map in a real time 2v2 game. As this map only unlocks at level 50, I can't create a game with it. However, there is a built-in template that I already can use to set up a game with it - but the game is multi-day then :/

As I don't like multi-day games, I wanted to ask if there is a possibility someone could make a real time template for this map. I am sure this would be appreciated not only by me, as it is a good map. I don't see why the built-in template should just exist for multi-day games.

Click on the built in template then select Customize this template..... and the change booting.

Thanks for your link Sephiroth. Unfortunately it still doesn't work, the same error (map not unlocked) occurs when I try to use this template. The same thing is true when I try to customize the boot time in the built-in template as The Turtle suggested. The built-in 2v2 Final Earth template only works if no settings are changed, that is 3 day boot time.

Does anyone have an idea who is responsible for the built-in templates? Is it Fizzer or can the map creator decide to do a built-in template? So perhaps I could try to ask them for a real time built-in 2v2 template...

@Turtle, you are lvl 57. You've unlocked that map. It works for you.
neovim is lvl 18, Have not unlocked that map. He cannot create games on that setting (Built-in templates are exceptions, which is why he can play it MD).


That is how it's intended to work, for better or worse. One possible work-around is to have someone high enough lvl make the game for you- you'll be able to play it, just not make new ones.

(If you're still around, I can make one for you, but as real-time games need to start within 1 hour, there's no point unless you're here.
