Worst cuisine: UK and USA (no identity, nothing interesting)

Best: Italian and Chinese (incredible variety and different kind of food, refined, etc)

No identity is a bit far. You may not like British food, but it certainly has identity.

True, don't tell me that those pudding and jelly desserts are good. I am just telling according to my experience: I went 2 times in London, first with school we were in a British family and they never cooked their dinner only fast food. Second time, I went to London with my girlfriend, we went to many restaurants which were actually libanese, Indian, Chinese, Italian whatever, the only time we ate something "british" it was those famous fish&chips nothing really incredible truth be told.

Theres no such thing as "american food". its just whatever food is in the US at any random resturaunt

@Panda. Frog legs, snails - yuck. French fries aren't even French and you drink stuff out of bowls. Weird. I've been to France about five times, Italian, fast foods etc everywhere, as in everyother country. Everyone eats Italian, Indian, Mexican and Chinese, the best food. But there is always identity for other countries. Including American which is fast food shit. Moving to the topic of the discussion, it should be what you like.

Calm down Englishman, it's funny to see how the Brits react when we dare criticize something about their culture, I never said that the French food was the best, if you just paid a little attention of what I wrote earlier... Anyway, I myself never tried frog's legs or snails this is a regional culinary specialty, not really popular everywhere in France, moreover that just shows how much ignorant you are about us and our cuisine. That's actually a pity becaue if you keep focused on that you are missing many good things.

Cajun cuisine is essentially of French\African\Native origin not 'Murican.

even though frog legs and snails are awesome (especially snails, frog is like chicken), there is much much more than that in french cuisine. seriously, i've lived 13 years abroad, i've traveled a lot, and i still think french food is the best. The bread alone is worth it. I'd say Italian food as close second. then i'd say for the variety, lebanese,mexican,thaï,spanish

edit: btw i think not even 10% of french have tasted frog legs, i've taste twice in my life. Snails are more common but still a pretty unusual dish, the kind of thing you eat mabe once a year
