I've always liked the lax moderation of the forum as it has given some interesting discussions but nowadays as the forum has gotten bigger I feel there needs to be some clear moderation presence or more rules.The forum has seriously gone downhill. Something needs to be done Fizzer

1.WarLight's normal rules apply to the forum, such as being respectful to other players at all times, not spamming, not impersonating other players, etc.

2.Don't use the forum for reporting other players breaking the rules. You should report them by using the in-game Report button.

3.Don't bump a thread just for the sake of bumping. Posting a message just containing "bump" will just be deleted. If you have a valid reason to bump a thread, explain what it is.

4.Don't re-create locked threads. The point of locking a thread is to end the discussion since it wasn't appropriate for the forum. Threads that try to circumvent a lock by creating a new thread to continue the discussion will find their threads deleted.

5.Don't use obnoxious subject lines, such as all-caps or excessive length.

6.Don't spam links to third-party sites.

Those rules are broken on a daily, if not (bi)hourly basis. In my opinion there is a clear need for some more moderation. Fizzer has always been lenient, but I am afraid some players have taken too much advantage of that.

More moderation is definitely needed. At very least, a report post button would be nice.

On basically every visit to the forums, I find soft porn, vulgar images, or attacks on users/clans/minorities.

Master, I think an actual moderation staff of 5-7 people would do a much better job, and actually solve the problem, rather than just hiding it. I support this idea.

@OnlyThePie a staff of 5-7, For a free site paying a staff of 5-7 wage, I think the option you are presenting is not even a option for Fizzer to even think seiriously about

5-7 people is rather overkill.
There are also plenty of people who are loyal to Fizzer and WarLight who would do it for free.

A couple of people would do. Including Fizzer and Mercer that would make 4. I can't see a forum of this size needing more for a while.

I dont want to do it..... but most of the people that are volunteering for power shouldnt get it....

Could it be a monthly vote ? If it is a perpetual full-time moderation, there is always some people that will leave without warning. Replacing moderators is a complicated process.

It should be entirely Fizzer's (or Mercer's) choice.
