I'm looking for a clan (or unofficial group of friends) who focus on playing team games. M'Hunters was recommended to me, but AyanM says they only want people who play a lot of 1v1 and are "very skilled" at auto-games. I'm not much of a fan of playing 1v1s that involve weighted random; it's boring to me.
I prefer either 1v1 with SR 0%Luck or team games with whatever settings + manual distribution.
I started playing WarLight recently (mid-March), but you can see that I learn quickly. I have few games on my profile that show my progression in skill over time. I have a 50%+ winrate across all game types except huge team games - which is why I'm looking for a group!
Does anyone have any clan recommendations, or want to offer to form an unofficial team? I've heard Knights Templar and GG might be good, but I haven't seen their members in many games I've played.
I'd estimate my skill being around "Intermediate" to "Advanced". I can beat any random person on 1v1 or with a decent partner on RoR. I've taken on and beaten people head-to-head from lv30+ to lv 50+ in team games like RoR and Crusades.
Fav maps are RoR, Breaking Green, Arene, Chess, Crusades, Europe, Big North America, and Medium Earth.
Edit: After talking with a few people, I think I should clarify some things.
1) I ranked myself as "intermediate to advanced" to mean "not a casual/novice, but not very experienced or a pro" - I'm not trying to say that I'm as good as anyone on a ladder. A lot of people who were playing the game this weekend were significantly better than the people I was playing against during the week. That makes me think that there are a lot of really good players (who would easily beat me in most games) that I simply haven't played against yet because of the maps I choose and the times that I play.
2) By "competitive" I meant a group of people who play to win/strategically, not just to play a game to spend some time. I didn't mean people who play WarLight like it's a pro sport.
3) I didn't realize that most clans play only multi-day games. I'm looking for groups that play quite a bit of real-time games, as I prefer them to multi-day games at the moment.
I apologize for any confusion. :)

I did. As I said, I already got in touch with M'Hunters and was told that my interpretation of their clan page statement was wrong (i.e. they aren't about team games). That's why I'm asking broadly. Plus, people's feedback about the different clans makes a difference, and the clans that are active on the board are probably more likely to be clans that are active socially for team games, too.
And, like I said, it doesn't have to be a clan. I just want some good teammates who care about playing well and not idling.
I've already gotten a few good tips and some offers, so I think I made the right decision. :)

Dear WarStrategy:
1. "..AyanM says they only want people who play a lot of 1v1 and are "very skilled" at auto-games.." - these are not my words. Take a look at our chat once (or twice) again, this is not even the context of what I told you. We specialize on team games, but 1v1 competetive skills are also important!
2. The part of our bio "..Joining our clan helps ASLO finding partners for team games. In fact at present we are the biggest clan that is partly BASED ON SKILLS.." - that means not ONLY team games are important, but ALSO some good SKILLS. And by the way, the team game that you sent to me, didnt show you from the best side. You did 5 picks, they actually could be far better and also you had only 1 opponent in the beginning who had to fight your team mate as well!
3. "..I have a 50%+ winrate across all game types.." - as I said to you in our chat, high win rate doesnt always mean, that the player is skilled, sometimes it means he plays against weaker opponents. I saw more then 5 games of yours and I noticed that in 1v1 your opponents were totally noobies and in team games you had a luck (?) of being in better teams
4. *offtopic* "...I've heard Knights Templar and GG might be good..." - whut?! comparing GG with Templars is like comparing Volkswagen Golf 3 with Porsche Cayenne Turbo. You know what i mean?
5. "..I'd estimate my skill being around "Intermediate" to "Advanced".." - I would say intermidiate to intermidiate. If you want to have a feeling of advanced playing, play a couple of 1v1 games against Master-clan or GG.
6. I was cool with the fact that you were a bit dissapointed after we declined your Candidate, but now im kind of pissed, that you took my words out of the context and published it on the general forum, so no respect for you. For me it looks like after being declined you went crying to all in the main forum.
Conclusion: no regret about having you declined and
Good luck
Edit: I dont mean our clan is super cool, but as was said before, we take the recruitment process quite seriously, we dont want anyone on whom we cant count in team games, who is impolite and who cant play 1v1 on the basic level.

1. You spelt both Golf Mk3 and Cayenne Turbo wrong. 2. You mangled those words so badly I don't give a *expletive* about the rest of your sentence. 3. What happens if they raced on a really tight circuit? Then the golf might win... 4. We are the Toyota Yaris in this situation :P

Combined with you actual words below, says all I'd care to say in response.
via PM
>> Unfortunately, we have to decline your request. You are a good player, but you need some improvement.
Me: Ok, can you explain some of what I need to work on?
>> ok, but make sure you dont get offended after my criticism. there are some strategies how to play 1v1 and it seems you have no strategy on it. If you even do, then its pretty bad, cause any more or less skilled player would beat you
Me: (Reasons why I made the moves I did when I won the games mentioned.)
>> man, the game, where opponent picked all around china is a nonsense. His picks were totatlly shitty, if there was another better opponent, he would've beaten you. Being good in team games not enough for us, sorry. We look for competetive players, that means for those, who is able to show a nice game in any kind of games (1v1, 2v2, 3v3 etc.) If you want a clan, focused only on team games, I would advice you smth like KnightTemplar. There are a lot of noobs there, whom you can teach how to play team and some politeness may be.
Me: Your clan page makes it sound like you're a team game clan first and foremost. My constructive criticism is that you change the description to make it clearer that your clan is about being good at all types of games.
>> look at the first 6 words of our bio
Me: Team games are competitive, too. All you specified was (non diplo). In the context of what you wrote later, the emphasis is on "team". You wrote "team" three times, and only mention 1v1 in the context of an overall record including 2v2 and 3v3.
>> ok, thnx for your opinnion. Good luck with finding the right clan to join :)
Now everything really is public, and everyone can see how you are behind the scenes. I wasn't disappointed. I was stunned at how condescending you were and gave you chances to reply more maturely.
All that I had originally put here in public was that you said you wanted people who are highly skilled at 1v1 autogames, which is exactly what you denied me for (saying that the 3 autogames I'd played against random opponents who happened to be low level proved that I wasn't good enough at 1v1 to be part of the clan).
If you had a problem with me mentioning your requirements, you should have sent me a PM and asked me to edit my post, not tried to make me look stupid.

That post was just an exercise in righteous futility. :)
Back on topic, though, I appreciate the offers I've gotten. I'm going to try things out with groups in the order that they contacted me. No disrespect is meant toward any group that I don't get around to. I'm going to stick with the first clan that feels like a good fit. I feel like that's the only way to be fair to everyone.

honestly out of all the clans I've seen the ones that would suit you best are either Illuminati if that interests you contact Forbidden Knowledge or you could join The League of Erroneous Aspirations (LEA) talk to Dr. Stupid if that interests you, Illuminati focuses on 1v1 more but LEA is more team orientated.
