Sounds good. This would be more fun if more people would participate.

China settles its lunar colony soon after the USA. While not quite as good a site as the USA (rolled a 5), it still has a great deposit of minerals, although water will have to be transported from else where. The Newly founded Private company "guangxi" vows to provide for the new colony.

Meanwhile, a crisis has occurred in the AFL, as a scandal is uncovered involving the aid money meant for devolving countries in Africa being sent to the Swiss bank account of a few Nigerian government officials. Nigeria's international reputation suffers and calls are made for reform

Nigeria hopes to overcome this bad reputation by establishing a moon colony. It is supported by Russia and India. Israel is attacked by Hezbollah, a strong force in Jordan.

South Africa denounces Nigeria, pointing out that Nigeria hasn't taken steps to actually reform the AFL. More members of the AFL are supporting South Africa, demanding Nigeria give its leadership role to South Africa.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Space program had set backs. Many experts point to how dependent the program is on outside help, and the lack of preparation Nigeria spent since the program seemed to pop out of nowhere.

(For future reference, make sure your country founds a program before it launches a colony. Also, the country's score should be at least 20 to launch a space program)

It wouldn't make sense if Columbia started a space colony out of nowhere

You should make it subtract 4.

After the act of nuclear terrorism by Baltic nationalists that set back the Russian space program, Russia placed a blockade after investigators connected the events to officials in the batic states. Russia has also increased funding for defense in light of recent events.

Ignore thomas, you have to create a space program before starting a colony. Also, you have to roll for a colony, see earlier post by me.

This "Baltic States" thing is a bad idea as well... Don't clump a bunch of countries together. To keep the idea alive, just have it as "Baltic Rebels", because it is not backed by the official governments. If you want to add them, add them in gradually, not all in at once.

ASIA: Russia's space program is finally complete. It goes by the name Интер солнечной энергии. Colonizing the moon is their next goal. The war between Israel and Jordan is at a standstill for now, and an armistice agreement is signed over the Second Korean War. South Korea will cede some land to North Korea, and pay war reparations to Japan.

-Note: As much news is happening in Asia right now, the Middle East shall be its own category in my next post-

EUROPE: Russia beats off the Baltic Rebels, and the nations bordering the Baltic Sea promise for it not to happen again. If it does, "There shall be consequences" Russia states. The Old Republic are beginning to win the French Civil War.

AMERICA: America is getting threatened by other nations launching inter solar space programs, and shows their superiority in the world by nuking Mars. Tensions remain high in South America following the Colombo-Venezuelan war.

OCEANIA: Australia hopes to begin a space program, and government officials are looking into the idea.

AFRICA: Niger declares war on Nigeria for threatening the rest of Africa, and their corruption. Nigeria are currently winning the war, but other African nations look in to support Niger, primarily Cameroon and South Africa.

I agree, with Nigeria in there to because although it has less than U.K, it has done more.

The points wouldn't directly influence the top 5 world powers, it would be their economical, and military growth, their alliances, etc. Here's an idea for now:
