I'm on quite a few strategy games such as this and on most of them the clans/alliances have their own independent chats which are often useful both for organizing in real time and just for general socializing and conversation so is there any possibility of adding one?

Why not use clan forums or PMs?

A suggestion, in my clan we have a clan's chat, and it is easy to make one: go to "create a game", like if you were making a real game, invite your clan's members, and then make sure this game wont start. It's done, your chat is made. :)

yes but there are limits to that and it isn't all to sleek :/

Forums are not easily accessed for those on phone and it would be good if you could have a chat of its own.

I agree clan's forums have to be improved, first of all allow to categorize topics that would be nice, a real clan's chat would be nice too. Popo is right when he says that there are limits about what we have done with clan's chat through game's chat. And again (I made a thread 2 weeks ago about that but few people participated) improve the mailing system, an email group for clans would be really nice to warn and to tell to members about important events.

Start the game, but set the boot time to <100 days, or use clan-forums. Problem solved!

The Falcons don't have a chat...

We have elections every month in which all members of the clan get to vote for people who put forward their points of view. The Parliament puts forward their views and votes on proposals which are forwarded on to the Royal Court for review and then implemented by a Supreme Council. Complicated but efficient.

Use TS if you want to talk at the same time as your friends, this is not an MMO in the sense that everything needs to be real time anyway.

Or if you dont want to play paliament just do what angry panda said. We do that and we havent had any problems. Only thing that sucks is that its only 40 people.

We use mail on here because the forums are lacking any admin tools for clan leaders

The best thing would be to make forums accessible via the mobile app. The majority of players in our clan are mobile only, so we have a chat game going that gets more use than our clan forum at the moment. But there's a limit to how many can join the game, and it gets a little jumbled since there's no division of topics.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would suggest voting for this on user voice. We do think this is a priority that is pretty high. There are lots of chat improvements and we are looking into all of them.

I think the ability to add players to mail would be an excellent idea...

^agree %100. Many people use chat games because you cannot add/remove people to a mail thread.
