Matma, please answer one question : Do you think that is normal to win a 1v1v1v1v1 by booting everyone. I Just would like you to answer that please.

When the boot time is 2 minutes, then yes. If it was 2 days, then not.

More specifically, I think the time when you're no longer playing a blitz game is when the boot time is about 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, you're playing a super fast game, so you'd better play super fast.
Some people like such games, some don't, and those should not play them - that's the point I'm trying to convey to you all the time.

OK I give up. Now I'm really sure I haven't come to the right place.
EZSTreet you were right then to boot everyone of us. That is a brilliant victory, and you have many people here that think it's the right way to win. Applause.
bye.

I disagree, respectfully. Certainly it is within the rules to boot right at the timer, but I consider it a tad bit unsportmen like. Like a linebacker demolishing a player away from the play not looking anywhere near the on-comming brute, injuring him. Yes, it is within the rules, and yes it is unsportmens like. Same thing here.

Sorry to step in on this... I know and understand everything that everyone is saying...
When I have joined a game that is a 2 min boot time, I make it a point to not join/play any other game simultaneously. I also make sure my sound is on so I can hear the "ding" that signifies that it is my turn.
I will admit... If I have played every turn in a timely manner, then after playing for a half hour or more, I am booted exactly at the 2 min mark, it pisses me off. I didnt spend a half hour or more of my life to be booted/removed from a game. On the other hand, if I was warned via public chat or if I habitually went past the boot time, then by all means, boot me!
To be booted as you are committing your turn is frustrating. Being booted is way worse when it is clear that you are in the lead.
So, booting to win or to not lose is weak and unsporting. Booting is here to keep games moving, not to help a loser win.
This reply is not directed at any one person. Simply just a comment.
Thanks!

Well Frederick, you just expressed the exact frustration I felt about this particular game I played with EZSTreet... In every point it is the same story. My english in probably not as good as yours I guess :/
Now I've been all the more frustrated by reading comments of Protagoras, Perrin and Matma... For sure it is my first thread, I haven't done things in the right way by not posting the game link, etc. However I really dont think people should get such an icy welcome from people that I suppose are a bit involved in this game since they give a contribution to this forum...
Anyway, one of the point I asked and I got no answers yet : I haven't found a place yet for complaint thread, ans was wondering if there is one existing ? If no, could be interesting to have one maybe. Fizzer is already doing a lot of work, maybe he has other fish to fry than reading this crap ^^.

MaNaMaT: If you would like to suggest a 'Complaint Forum' you can do so at http://warlight.uservoice.com/forums/77051-warlight-features.
People usually just post complaint threads in the General Forum, though.

Thanks CuChulain, good to know.
@EZSTreet : thanks mister Shrink. Besides, now I'm pretty sure next time you'll be a little more careful when booting people : )

He's sitting on the boot button hitting refresh -- One of them was booted at 2 minutes and no seconds. Frankly -- you've learned a valuable lesson. And you only had to lose one game to learn it. Well done.

Good point. I haven't played a real time game since the update. I've never played a sub 15 minute boot game regardless. Real time has never been equal to the boot time for me -- it means I'm not going anywhere until the game ends. Boot time is a measure of how much time I might need to grab a drink, answer the door or phone, take a leak, see what my wife wants, etc. (e.g. at least 15 minutes).

I play very quickly, I use the hot keys and can play a turn on a very large map in under 5 minutes almost all the time, but I would never agree to a 5 minute boot time because I have a life where interruptions come up that take priority over WL regularly. Even if it's 3am on weekend there's still the call of nature.

Thx ppl for participating.
@EZSTreet. The more this topic is quoted, the more your reputation is growing larger, which imho is good for the community. Next time think twice.
@Duke. That's right, lesson was learned, I was only ~100 games when it happened, and yet didn't realise some people create games on big map with very low boot time, like this one, just to get an easy win (hard for me to understand that...). Good to know. Hopefully it is the only time I saw that happening and I'm now more than 250 games. So I presume that is pretty rare, hopefully.
The reason why I created this topic is also to warn new comers of what awaits for them :)
