Subject had a character limit. So, how do we, as a community, get more people to join Warlight? I think everyone is in agreement our community isn't all that large. From when I first joined(not to long ago) it seems it's died a bit even since then. So what do we do as a community so larger "Real-Time" can actually happen, more interesting tournaments rather than the same 2 v 2 Castle Throne Rooms or 1 v 1 Red Dead Redemption?

Advertise WarLight on chess sites. There are shared aspects to both games. I've also found that lots of WarLight players play chess as well. It has the added benefit of attracting (future) good WarLight players.

I personally avoid RT games because:

If I get even a little distracted, I'm screwed.

If enough people finally join just as I realize that it's waaay past my bedtime, I'm screwed.

If other people in our house want to use our family's computer,
I am quite possibly screwed...

If the game goes a lot longer than I had planned, I'm screwed.

I did notice a sudden lack of Multi-day Games recently, which was a concern to me...

but then again, Spring is finally here in the Northern USA. :)

I think the forums should be fully available to new players immediately after they register.

I think the forums should use software that is much more user friendly...
the way that most game / game clan forums already do.

I wish that both Fizzer and players could customize the AIs.
(I used to play a Risk-clone download where customizing the AIs in much the same way that Warlight users customize the game maps was THE main customization available for that game.)

Aren't there enough trolls?

Pretty sure this is a problem fixed in large by advertisements. I only found warlight because I happened to stumble across it while searching for risk-like apps on the apple app store.

I agree with Mike about the chess sites thing. Also, I'm pretty sure Warlight's biggest open avenue of expansion is through mobile.

I talk to people at school, and have various people (10-12) who actually have started playing it and are enjoying it. I personally found Warlight through Kongregrate. It was the Single Player demo and I really enjoyed it, and it said to visit Warlight.net to play MP. So I did. Been loving it ever since.

You can't view the forums or tournaments from the app but if you go onto your phone's web browser, type WarLight.net you can access both forums and tournaments.

I'd rather people not join actually. Not until we can get trolling under control. In fact I bet trolling is scaring away a lot of potential new people.

How about everyone focuses on raising their standards of the community, which in turn makes the site/game more attractive.

I've met a ton of people who admit to coming through here from Kongregate. I'm one of them! I think it's been a huge help advertising Warlight.

im gonna have to admit to it as well.
