Are the Ladder games JUST on the "earth map" ? Cause i played 3 Ladder games and they are all on the earth map ...

It depends on the ladder. 1v1 always uses it.

Not all ladder games are on Earth maps. RT uses a variety of maps. Seasonal also uses a variety of maps, but mainly Earth ones. 1v1 and 2v2 only use Earth maps.
