Modify SVG file after Map Designer ?: 2015-05-10 23:37:12

Hi,
I am currently working on my first map (Venice, Italy) and getting familiar with Inkscape and Warlight's Map Designer. My current situation:
- I have drawn all the territories of the map
- I have named all of my territories in Inkscape (Territory_1, Territory_2, etc.), there's about a hundred of them.

My question: Is it possible to modify the SVG file later without having to do all the work in Map Designer (MD) again (connecting territories, naming them, creating bonuses, etc.)? It seems to me every time one does major changes to the SVG file you have to start all over again in MD.

Example: I am afraid of naming the districts of Venice in MD (which will take a lot of time) because I am sure to change the SVG file in the near future. But at the same time I want to test the map with real people.

Other example: I suppose testing the map with real people will get you feed back not only on the MD aspects of the map (bonus distribution, connections, etc.) but also on Inkscape issues (territories not visible enough, connections not clear, etc.). Does this mean I have to do all the MD work all over again? This solution seems extremely unpractical.

Thanks in advance for you help. Just discovered map making, it's pure genius. Have a nice day.

it is possible. warlight editor has an 'upload new svg file' button. you can upload a new file without changing your progress within warlight.
