Notice that we now have 315 people ranked. I don't think Warlight's ever had more than 300 ranked on the 1v1 ladder, at once, before. Can anyone think of a previous time where 150th was average??

I noticed that too. I remember when there was only about 150 people ranked.

When I joined it for the first time, I got ranked in the bottom ten. I was 220th at the time....

I remember 130 person ladder

back in the past, when i joined WL, i am sure there was like 95/100.
and in 2v2 just 25/30 teams.

In 2013 - 2014, I remember it being about 220 players. I think more people are leveling up and or buying memberships.

2012 was about 160 I remember, 2013 about 200 and then so on...

2014 was 250-260 ish, so the 1v1 ladder's been growing at roughly 40-50 players a year.

Less than that. Hell, I was able to climb into the 20s and I'm mediocre at best. At times I'd wager there were no more than 60

It's an interesting phenomenon. As long as the number keeps increasing, the value of a certain rank will increase. It used to be that, if you were 100th on the 1v1 ladder you were an idiot. These days, top 100 is respectable (top third of the ladder). Makes you wonder how far it'll go. Maybe one day we'll have over 500 people ranked at any given moment... maybe 1000. Warlight's expanding, and I love it!

I wish it recorded your percentile in the graphs, rather than your rank. That would be more meaningful.
