I disagree that you cannot judge someone unless you are God. Are you saying I cannot judge a mass murderer or terrorist? it does not mean I am allowed to seek retribution, but I am certainly welcome to hate their guts. I don't abide by the forgive and forget in all situations. There are different degrees of sins/immoral acts.
Actually, if you hate anyone than you are a murderer(Actual quote from the bible).
To judge, in the sense of as it is used in the New Testament, is referring to telling people that they are going to Heaven or going to Hell, if they are good or evil. Of course, the basis of civilization is law and order, which is why Jesus told the people to follow the law (while never denying God's existence). Unlike murder, homosexuality does not involve anyone on the outside of the situation, which is why it is considered a moral sin, but doesn't have to be against the law, so if homosexuality is legal, nobody has any right to put any sort of judgement on any gay people. Nobody is supposed to judge anyone in the first place, though. Keeping a truly open mind and not deciding judgement on someone for yourself is not Christian.
Firstly, It is like, a huge screw-up to teach anyone, especially sinners, that sin is Okay.
See matthew 5:19:
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
It is the believers responsibility to teach non-believers the the requirements for living in God's kingdom. These requirements are that you Confess your sins before God and acknowledge that you have wronged, and then to ask for forgiveness.
Also, it's nonsense that you can't tell another person the consequences of not believing; All that is forbidden is condemning a person, A duty which God has reserved for himself.
Consider these two statements:
You will go to Hell because of your sins.
If you do not Give your life to Jesus Christ, you will Go to Hell.
One of these statements is Passing judgement, which is forbidden in the bible, and one is not.
nobody has any right to put any sort of judgement on any gay people.
All this means is that You are not able to Condemn people to hell. You are allowed, and in fact required to, warn people of the consequences their sins will have.
In fact, the verse you quote from matthew 7 is referring to something different; Read it in context:
“Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
This verse clearly does not mean what you think it does. In the context of your post, Gay people who are married and commit Sexual immoralities again and again have no right to Judge A teenager who has homosexual thoughts.
