Even better linberson, he should remove the a and z keys from his keyboard and disable their circuits to make absolutely certain he can't accidentally hit them!

I can safely say we are not getting rid of HotKeys. In fact, we will make it easier to understand Hot Keys in the next few updates. This feature has been on the roadmap for a while and I agree that it might have been hard to know what HotKeys exist, so there is an update coming for this.

If you commit by accident, try and modify orders. Or try not to hit random keys. :)

I'd honestly rather see an option to disable them. I've honestly tried using the hot keys but they've never really worked. They've always made it so my turns are longer than they should be.

Then how about fixing the cursor not going into the chat window?

Hotkeys are absolutely crucial on big maps towards the late game, they really save me a lot of time (playing on browser).

how about switching them to 1,2 and 3? That would get them out of the way for most writing.

A. How does it take you a full 5 minutes to complete a turn?

B. How do you accidentally hit the Z key?

never bothered me with the chat issue chriscmu is mentioning.

don't really use them on normal play either, but i guess i probably should. would avoid some extra clicks.

Whoever suggested we be able to map our own is right on the money.

I use "Z" to comit when I am playing No-Luck games because the .8 seconds it takes my hand to move across the screen and click it is super long to be able to have my finger hovering over "Z" an pressing it instantly!

I use Q and A - but the most I use is the "Home" key. That one is indispensable (especially in games with wastelands and manual pick).

The one's I mainly use are a, z and home.
