I play on 55" T.V. and I sometimes play on fullscreen. My question is: Why doesn't chat work on full screen?

it says when you click full screen that the keyboard doesn't work in full screen...

personally i use the numpad more then the chat, but still i don't use fullscreen

A solution to this is just to go full screen in browser, and chat still works

Unfortunately this is a restriction with Flash. Flash doesn't allow keyboard access when in fullscreen mode, except for a few limited keys like Escape (for exiting keyboard mode) and the arrow keys.

I believe that Adobe's reasoning for disallowing this is to prevent a malicious Flash application from simulating an OS login environment and capturing passwords. For example, someone could write an application that looks identical to the Windows log-on screen, which would fool some users into typing their password in.

Though the disallowing of keystrokes within flash is terribly annoying, I nevertheless enjoy fullscreen mode so much that I still use it. I typically watch turns unfold in fullscreen, then hit exit to chat and submit orders.

Just so you know, in every sane browser, if you press F11, you switch to fullscreen mode. It's just like the one provided by the button in bottom-left of WL app, but keyboard works and the top menu is still visible.
