I'll be honest, it's not a bad idea. It will make Warlight much more interesting and fun. Probably have this be a sequel to Warlight? Or maybe an add on?
I don't know. But I hope this does come Fizzer's consideration.

i agree with you Genghis on the end product but i think it would by necessity take time to grow and develop, many of your ideas may not work with the way the maps or the game settings are currently set up, if fizzer just jumps into this head first and it flops then he will have a "broken neck" if you will or "up a creek with out a paddle" great ideas though

Way too complex. Part of the beauty of Warlight is its simplicity. An incredibly complex game based on very simple concepts. Introducing various units and different capabilities and the game loses its uniqueness and thus its heart and soul.

What you are suggesting is not a *bad* idea, per se. It just requires a complete redesign of Warlight, the website, the graphic interface, etc, etc.
Suggesting that someone else do this for you is... a bit presumptuous. Perhaps you can ask for (or buy) some of the Warlight code from Fizzer and then start a new website called Advanced Warlight or some such, and design this new game?
It's also worth mentioning that *ideas* are a dime a dozen. It's the *implementation* that's worth something. And that takes a lot of work.
