@Juq: Except for the part where you set up devices that beam back data/light from the moon (that work to this day). Or bring back actual material from the moon. Or leave stuff behind on the moon that can be detected by satellites and future expeditions.

And of course, there's the part where you build a giant rocket that can take you to the moon.

You could be right. These devices, have you seen them actually working? Haven't you seen moon rocks? They were popular back in the 50s. And of course, there's the part where you photoshop some aeroplane going straight up into a rocket going straight up.

Moon rocks are truthfully and mysteriously disappeared. That should be the highlight of your fake landing theory.
