i get a strange error message when i try to send either in the public or the team chatbox:

"Your message was not sent because you have been sending too many messages to this game. Please try again later."

Well. I tried again after 3 hours. Same message. Sending a private message leads to an error message. The last thing i wrote to my teammate could not be completed and is misleading/outdated now. But i cannot make any corrections. Its not that i need to win this tournament game in Round 3. Sending a private message results in the following error message:

"We are sorry, an error has occurred, please ...."

WarLight only lets you send 50 consecutive messages to a game. This prevents someone from spamming a chat window with millions of messages, which would cause problems.

If you're having a back-and-forth conversation with someone, this won't be an issue. But if nobody ever replies to you and you keep talking, it will eventually cut you off until someone else talks.

curious, does that include PM's as well as team and chat? IE, 24 player ffa, you send each other member 2 texts trying to convince them of a certain plan, *23*2=46* then make a few statements in main chat, then you can't do any talking, til anyone talks to you? *ie, one person PM's you back, then you have 50 more messages* or is it 50 messages per location.. just curious, because i could see a conceivable issue in large ffa or 2 man team games besides purely spamming... especially since as doushi showed us in goddesszilla, *and myself in some other games* when talking about ones team strategy, it can take quite a few posts to fully show your point, and it would be.. frustrating to not fully explain your point once the spam filter stopped you and have to wait, conceivably days, before being able to continue...

not saying i have a better solution currently, just pointing out a slight possibility that might be an issue to legit playing.

Thank you for that answer, Fizzer. The reason why i do so many messages is that i do short sentences. Another reason is that my teammate is in a difficult game situation and does not write a lot.

But how about the private messaging? Didnt do a lot in that game, why that error message. Right now i cannot communicate with my teammate in a running turnament game. Its a 3-player team. But unfortunately one of my teammates was booted and replaced by an AI that i also cannot communicate with.

50 unresponded messages is not communication!!! hehe

I am sure my teammate reads it ;-). If its not communication then tell me what it is. And, BTW, its was over 5 turns in about one week. Sometimes its not that easy to explain a strategic situation and how an AI behaves :D.
