We're more feudal Japan-themed (think Tokugawa Shogunate) than anything. The Japanese theme isn't really taken seriously beyond just titles and images- I don't think we even play on Japan-inspired maps.

I don't know if our "theme" would be very satisfying to someone who thinks a clan should simulate a hypothetical or actual nation or thinks its a good idea to premise an entire clan off a theme instead of a shared goal or some other uniting factor.

So if you're serious about roleplaying as the Empire of Japan, CORP isn't what you're looking for.
