Basically what this game is, is that you will be presented with a country, and we take turns to trace this country back to its predecessor, because all countries were formed some way. If the country does not have a predecessor, we have two choices - we either go back to a historical version of the country, or to the country it broke off from from (example: Mongolia can trace back to Republic of China, or it can be traced back to the Mongol Empire - preferably Yuan).

Some countries have more than one predecessor, in this case, we have a choice, you can pick either one of them. By the time we reach their original tribes, it ends.

Juq how exactly did the Weimar Republic contribute to the formation of Russia? Also, you cannot drag countries that the specified country is occupying into the mix. Vassals do not count unless they play a significant role into how the country was formed. Also "China Empire"? I know you got bored, but you can do better than that.

The Kaliningrad Oblast originally belonged to Nazi Germany & the Wiemar Republic, but after WW2 it became part of the Soviet Union and is now a part of Russia

I'm sorry for not including this, but territory taken from wars does not count. Territory that your country is occupying does not count, but only direct predecessors.

No they're not... That would be ridiculous to say. If you did Turkey it would freaking span the entire world if you did that. What I mean is when governments evolve, countries declare independence, previous states of the same ethnicity existed before.
