I vote against this feature. The whole point of team chat and private chat is that it's for team members and intended recipients only.

I agree. I use the PM's and Private chats for other games as well and sometime personal items with people I know. I do it because I know only the people I want will see it.
I understand the curiosity in wanting to know what was said by the other team and see their strategies but if they wanted it to be public knowledge, there is a public chat available.

Don't see how this could benefit anyone seeing as collusion is perfectly accceptable (If not frowned upon). Closure?

I agree with Duke-less as well. Sometimes you'll say something like "John Q. Warlight Player on the other team has a tendency to act in some manner, so we should do some action to counteract it" and you may not want Johnny Warlight knowing that you're aware of his tendencies.. That's an easy example. That's not to mention times when you might want to say something like "I don't think this guy is a very good player, so I don't think he'll think that deeply into his move" and if you know it's going to be revealed to that player after the game, you might not want to say it anymore out of fear of hurting his feelings or making him angry that you're calling his Warlight skill into question, etc.
I think it's fine the way it is.

Besides, do you really want to check out another teams chat and discover it's one long thread about how you're dumber than a rock? Trust me, most team chats are NOT complimentary.

I'm definitely against this one, for the reasons mentioned by Duke and Ruthless.

I think this is a great idea, however I think that it should only expose the private chat if all of the players on that side "Opt-in" for it, with the default being that it wouldn't. The reason is, sometimes players are justifiably proud of the work they put into coordinating their efforts to achieve a victory, and thus they might want to show that off and give people some insight into the strategies that made it happen instead of having to just divine them from the gameplay. It needs to be an opt-in thing though, for the reasons described in this thread.

I like that Opt-In portion. Just have a pop up come up and ask if you'd like to share the chat but it defaults to no.
