You also sound like a good fit for CORP's Scorpio Dojo. Scorpio is the chief strategic subgroup of the clan (24 of our 90 clan members are a part of Scorpio). In addition to CORP's clanwide benefits (active forum, clanwide games/tournaments, interclan team games and diplos), Scorpio operates CORP's internal ladder system (the CORP Strategic League:

http://tinyurl.com/corpcldata), monthly 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments, and is generally a good environment to find people to play real-time games with as well. We're actively focused on improving ourselves as strategic players.
However, most of our games are multi-day rather than real-time.
If you're interested in CORP, feel free to set up a 1v1 (multi-day, but I'll play it real-time if we're both active around the same time) against me on a template you think is strategic (Strategic ME 1v1 and Guiroma would be fine, as would something a little more exotic like Oxfordshire or Belarus).
