The scores also haven't been updating, it seems; I beat a significantly higher-rated opponent yesterday and my score hasn't budged (which is possible, of course, but highly unlikely).

I'm guessing that either there was an undiscovered bug in Fizzer's ladder software or that whatever service he uses to host it just went down.

There was also a pretty widespread series of "bugs" going on two days ago- the NYSE, WSJ, United Airlines, etc., all crashed, along with anything that used the same DNS as the NYSE. Malicious activity has been repeatedly denied by these groups as well as the US government, so it looks like there was some update to a system in widespread use two or three days ago that crashed everything. I'm guessing that Warlight's 1v1 ladder might've been affected by this same bug.

But if it was an undiscovered bug in Warlight's own software, THIS IS WHY YOU OPEN SOURCE SHIT.

Strange. The other thread on this topic (in the Ladder forum) has been closed by Fizzer.

So he's probably working on a fix.
