Switzerland is not "fucking stupid". This has no justification, because there is no justification to make about it. Switzerland is incredibly smart.

Nukes mean nothing anyway. Very few people are dumb enough to nuke a nuclear capable country. Economy is going to drive the world sooner or later, as war becomes less and less relevant in culture.

So the conversation has turned to Switzerland? The country that lies about its neutrality. Switzerland has committed itself via international treaty to defend Liechtenstein should anyone attack it. You're not neutral if you're committed to defending anyone.

Hey, we don't know what Switzerland can do. That country has been neutral for 200 years. While everyone else was losing men and spending money, Switzerland was making a country-wide nuclear bunker. What if some of them are already living underground? It could be a lot more populated than we think. What if they've dug tunnels through the other countries in Europe. Switzerland is just waiting for the right time to strike, I'm telling you. It'll happen in WWIII. Everyone will be blowing each other up when suddenly from nowhere the Swiss invade every country and take over Europe.

Back to serious statements: China has a good shot at dominating the world economically, and if the EU can get it's shit together, we could possibly have a unified European state (unlikely, I know).

But my personal favorite, if unrealistic idea is that the obvious approaching decline of the United States (Bread and Circus anyone?) will allow Mexico and Canada to slowly leech parts of the country away, and causing small independent regions to form. This leaves Canada a ripe opportunity to ascend to super power status.

China is powerful, but their economy is slowing and spiraling downwards and the environment is horrific. Just a matter of years before it collapses into another civil war.

I think China will hold the spot for most powerful country (especially in it's favourable relation to America), unless India has a miracle (America doesn't have population to compete at the level China's at).
