Hello. Does anybody here have the acces to scientific articles via his univeristy library? I am asking because I need some articles for my PhD and unfortunatelly my library doesnt provide me acces to all that I'd like to have. And since regular the price is usually 30-40$ apiece I cannot afford them (I need about 10 articles). If anybody can help, just PM me.

Usually your university should provide you the access to jstor etc. How come you need the library?

My library provides me acces to most of articles, yet there are some databases that my library is not subscribing and I am not permitted to dowload articles from there. Thus If anybody from US (or other developed countries) has acces to his university library then I would be much obliged if he could help me since I suppose that US universities should have better acces than mine.

@skourby - I tried, I am not an idiot.

Try using http://reddit.com/r/scholar and posting the specific links/titles/authors for the articles you need. Also, PM me with that same info and I'll see if my university gives me access.

https://scholar.google.co.uk/

Is good for searching open source papers, unfortunatly it's been about 5 years since I finished my PhD, so I don't have anymore access, or really any good ideas. I remember it being very difficult to get hold of anything not subscribed to though.

You didn't say what your subject was (or country) so I don't know what your funding is like, but have you looked into getting them bought as part of your grant?

If I was still at my uni I would have hooked you up, good luck bro :)

Out of interest what is the subject on?
