What is "New Horizons?"

It is a space probe that just flew by Pluto, giving us the first ever close up images of the planet.

And Martian, you'll love to learn about this new site called Google! They even have New Horizons on their front page! :D

This New Horizon probe reminds me too much of Event Horizon. It will no doubt develop a desire to kill anybody around.

However the pictures it has gifted us are very nice. I kinda expected Pluto to be...you know, blue. Considering how cold it is there. Regardless its interesting to see the planet in its true colors.

We'll be getting much higher resolution photos than these soon, it just takes a long time to send all the data, it'll be 16 months before it finishes sending all the data it collected over these few days! :)

Sorry, gotta edit the first post. Also pluto looks kinda bruised...

Pluto looks a little different than I've always imagined. I've thought of it is as teal with a sort of silver glean. We'll learn more by the time the kids who are just graduated from college this year finally realize that a liberal arts degree wasn't the way to go.

I want to do economics :)
