The West starts at a disadvantage in the 2-player scenario. The East is positioned at the beginning to reach and hold the center more quickly and easily. Consider moving the second Eastern base to Khabarovskiy to even things out.

When testing the map I found that east was at a disadvantage. So I did move one of the easts starting points towards the centre a little. I will move the Irkutsk starting point in the east back one to Buryatskaya, this should make the west vs east distribution mode even.
The update should be in effect soon as V1.2 is now pending public.

I think the game is still imbalanced in favor of the East, but it's better. The troop bonuses are a bit weird- e.g. Siberian Plateau- but in general it makes for a very fun 1v1 game, especially in East v. West. Center is still a lot easier for East to guard, though.

This is indeed a great map! Great for huge battles, multiplayer and more. It also provides an interesting battlefield for those cold war scenarios!
