Relatively high income leads to large battles and makes it challenging to defend your bonuses. The value of the corner areas cannot be overestimated. Fun map.
A few of the connections are difficult to see, e.g., Middlesex-Richmond and Newport News-Surry. You might want to make these a bit more obvious or else eliminate the connections.

A great map, which is somewhat balanced, except corners have a slight advantage. Very impressed with the accuracy of the counties and cities, the map maker must have put a lot of effort into this.

A quick, fast running map without a lot of armies.
Sometimes fewer armies is better... this is one of those maps.
The numbers arent that big so it runs extremely fast.
I play with 6 and it's always a pretty game.
Good if you are short on time or just want a quick game.
