Arctic

Good map, Nic. But why not include the Russian Arctic islands and perhaps the northern reaches of the Russian and Alaskan mainland? I'm also worried a bit that in the 1v1 distribution the player starting in Finland is disadvantaged by his distance to Greenland. Then again, while it is easier to capture the Canadian superbonus, it leaves one's armies well out of position once that task is complete.

Arctic is a great map to play on, I especially like the simplicity and how it is nice for having quick games and practising.

This mao looks good before you get in, but once you play it is a slightly different story.

I played two 1v1 games on this vs. an AI, and in the first game I started in the Finland bonus. It was as fun a game as you can get when playing an AI in a 1v1 game. The map felt easy to play and I only had a couple of minor objections (which I will list below). Then I started in Canada. I expanded and captured all of Greenland and Canada, and then got smashed by the AI. I do know that I played the best I could. I agree with you when you say that Finland has the bonus; in fact, the map is unfair against Canada.

As to my minor objections, the territories in the Ellesmere Island bonus are a little squished together and a little hard to identify which islands are territories and which connect to which, etc. I hope that this map could be improved, as it does look like a fun one to play on!

i understand nothing about this map. if you kill a boss then appears another one or two

very unbalanced. The bonuses pile up quickly in the western end.
