Great map! The numerous sea connections offer an upgrade from most Mediterranean boards. I agree with another reviewer that the sea connections can be difficult to make out - particularly Ancona - Adriatic Sea.
Also, I feel that the Aegean Sea should be directly connected to the Sea of Crete and the Levantine Sea. It is currently too much of a journey to get out of the Aegean.
Broken connections - Genoa does not connect to Luca.
Finally, Eubola should probably be spelled "Euboea" or "Euboaea".
Nitpicking: Why no sea connections between Valencia and the Balearic Islands? Or Gortyn and the Levantine Sea?

I did not connect Levantine sea to Gortyn as in my tests, I found that corner was very overpowered. It had many easy to get 4 province bonuses and is quite defensive but has many expansion opportunities due to the sea connections. With the connections to Gorty, if there was one, you could go from Damiette to Italy in just 4 moves. As it is, you can still do it in 5 via Alexandria but it is slower. As for the Balearic islands, they are in a bonus with Sardinia and Corsica so I did not see any need to directly connect the Balearics.

Nice map. I haven't played it yet, but a few notes from previewing.
The black sea connections are hard to see, especially compared to the lighter, dashed connections.
Some of the anchors are similarly difficult to see, being so dark(purple, brown, dark red).
Two 'r's in Mediterranean.
There's that one line sticking out further than the rest under the on-map title. Why you hate OCD people? :P

The color-coded anchor connections are awesome! Map looks fantastic, can't wait to play it :)

I can't believe I mispelt Mediterranean and noone has noticed till now.
The connections and some colours will be changed in a future version (can you change the map name?)
