O kurwa! This map can into good. I doubt the Reichtangle and Russiaball can anschluss this with all the strategic chokepoints and inner defenses of the map. The map is hilariously balanced - it's quite fair for a 1v1 if a good distribution is used. All the bonus names, drawings in the middle of the map and other stuff make it a fun party game map to play at.
Hint? Polish hussars are strong. Very strong. If you can get all of it and the neighborhood a win is pretty much given out to you.

I like how you put the bonus links as little Poland's. The art in the map adds a nice touch from the usual monotonous map/gameplay. The countries bordering around Poland have a cool art style. The map is vary colorful and definitely not boring. One minor complaint I have though, is that sometimes it is hard to understand the territories within the artwork.
But all in all, it is a nice fun map.

Thx NinjaNic! It is a great honour to receive positive review from the author of so many great maps!!! What about territories inside some artowrks - well, they could be a little confusing but only a little:) and there are just few of them so they should not cause much trouble. I was trying really hard to make this connections visible without blurring the artworks too much and I hope that what is presented is optimal compromise. 8]
edit: in the newest version I have re-edited some borders so that the map should now be easier to read

I like the bonus balancing :)
my only quibble is that some areas are too easy to defend, but overall pretty good :)

If you are referring to those two bonusses which contain all their territories inside, I have just decresed their value to satndard 4 (originallythey were valued 5) so thay should be less attractive. If you reffer to other areas - take in mind that most of those "narrow passes" are in fact 2 territories wide so they are hard to block with single army stack of. Anyway - thx for positive opinion!

Map with unique bonuses and territories. A lot of areas with tricky and treacherous connections, that adds a complex mosaic view and game-play. Good for team-play or FFA. I would recommend looking into Custom Distribution - a lot of fun ways to start the game. Extra points for theme of map and territory names :). The artwork has effectively blended with territory connections and their strategical value. Do not let the Artwork distract you, but let it guide you through map towards sweet victory or trap you into disruption!

finaly somebody has mentioned my custom distributions!:D although I have to admit I have not played them much, so if anybody has enough time and enthusiasm to check them - he should feel encouraged to do so...

At first view I thought the artwork would disrupt the quality, but soon as I went playing on it, it turned out I was wrong! I was completely stupefied by its great strategical potential and consistency. The map , which is somehow odd, has a lot of invariable territories that can offer a sensible way of undeviating play which cannot be found in casual Warlight games.
You can expect a lot of the unexpected on this and it's also visually appealing. I would love to play on this map again in the future. This is truly unique.

Great map! I especially like all the chokepoints, they make for very interesting tactics.

Yeah, I sometimes wonder whether this one could be good for "multi attack" owing to this number of passgaess between areas - however I dont have much experience with "multi attack" games so I cannot analyse that question correctly

Great map - lots of fun. I greatly enjoyed the integration of so many aspects of Polish ... culture. :)
The connections are interesting and varied. Some of the regions lend themselves to turtling and are perhaps confer an unfair advantage, e.g., Stanislaw Lem and Monte Cassino.
A couple of broken connections:
Feathers - Fables for Robots
Zakopane - Polish Winter Himalalism
Also, Drevni Kocur should not connect to Blue Sky 10000 pcs.

Thx for yor thorough analyse of this map Nathan. Not everything on it is linked to polish culture, but many things are indeed. Regarding connections:
1)Feathers - Fables for Robots - no link because they do not connect - that was made on purpose, alhough I'll try to make it more visible in next version
2)Zakopane-Polish Winter Himalalism - same situation (they only touch with tips(diagonally) so to make it even more clear I covered this junction with "bonuslink"
3) "Drevni Kocur should not connect to Blue Sky 10000 pcs" - you got me! it indeed should not connect... will be repaired soon.
And the issue of "turtling" bonuses - they are my own invention and I will defend them fiercelly!!! But yeah - they are "strong spots" on the map. In fact in the original version they were buffed even more by increasing their value from 4 (which is present) to 5. Personally I hope they wont break the ballance much and will attract players to fight over them... we will see how it works in future

The first thing that you notice from the map is the attractive and amusing art so top job for that.
However a sexy map is without significant worth if it doesn't have use. Fortunately you map doesn't suffer from this problem! It's very functional as a 2v2 Template and I will soon be trying it as 3v3 (Also worth noting are some of it's bonuses and small chock points)
I look forward to your future maps.

Ahh Poland... Not only is the map very well designed aesthetically, the bottlenecks add a unique strategic asset. Very good with 2v2 and 3v3 strategic. I like how the drawings are actually inside the map instead of outside so it feels like you are interacting with it... Overall a very good, as well as amusing, map. ☺

too many colors, hard to see last province
Response by map creator
Kain on 12/12/2015
I dont really get what you mean by "last province", however at the very beginning I was trying to make this map monochromatic or binochromatic (greys red) but I was forced to resign form that idea because the map was hardly readable then, therefore I think that present color schematic is a justified compromise (and it is not very colourfull in fact...)
