Excellent looking map. Good job in making the classic RISK board even better. The only criticism is that "Artic" and "Glacial Antartic Ocean" are misspelled. It is Arctic and Antarctic. You just missed an extra "c" mate. I still prefer this one to the small earth map though. :)

WTF is up with these impossible maps?? he gets 20 for australia... if you have the entire rest of the map you'd be getting 22, but you'll never get asia because he's screaming out of australia with his 20 armies a turn, so you're supposed to make do with your 15 armies a turn while homie has 20 for a turn or two before you even get there? ridiculous. I like a challenge, but come on.

The classic "Small Earth Board Map" is visually great and with the classic "Small Earth" map my longtime playing favourite. Alas, both share a flaw, that annoys me again and again: Why is there no connection between "N. Europe" and "Scandinavia"? This is just silly, as in reality there is not the slightest problem to move from here to there. An adjustment would be more than welcome.

It's a good basic map. I'd say this map has only one downside: the fact that most of the matches end up with a conflict on the african-south american border or on the iceland-greenland one. Who wins the battle wins the game.

The map is the standard old-school Risk (tm) map.
Sadly, I can't find the spot where I can rate a scenario.
If I could, I would give "Time to take a risk but something is wrong here" five steaming piles of bull crap.
This scenario might be winnable, or maybe it isn't.
I'll never know because I'm desperately trying to skip it.

This map is the standard in warlight, it resembles the old Risk game and therefore it is just good. It has a nice outline. water is blue instead of black.

§ This is clearly, in my opinion, the worst "classic" map of any geopolitical game (in the sense of territorial and not ideological). Well, for you to win on that map, you need two pieces of knowledge and a "prediction": know how to play "warzone"; know what "zugzwang" is; and get lucky. ¶
§ The prooef (in my opinion too): If you know how to play "warzone", you are a player of "warzone", but if you know a lot of "warzone", than, you are a very good player theoretically. As this map is the first map that's featured in this game, new players has the giant rate of losing in a multiplayer match (normally) and will became sad after it [when I started playing this game in multplayer, I lost about 7 matches in a row on this map alone].
§ The other proof: If you know what is "zugzwang" you will, probably, screw your competitor, because, the last attack of a turn is most significant attack of the entire match (probably).
§ I don't even gonna explain about "luck", because I don't have space…

4 Reasons why I hate this map:
1. It is about as far from geographically accurate as possible.
2. It is highly unbalanced; The Europe bonus has 7 territories and is worth 5 armies, and the North America bonus has 9 territories and is also worth 5 armies.
3. It revolves mostly around the luck of which territories players start with; With random distribution, it clearly revolves around luck, if players get to pick starting territories, it is still mostly luck, as players will usually pick the same territories because of the map being extraordinarily unbalanced. With full manual distribution, there might be a tiny bit of strategy.
4. It is just plain ugly. I mean, look at that map, it is HIDEOUS.

This map is a strong 3/5, because it is purely random based. Those, who go with Brazil or Australia win 80% of games. Azia is impossible to control and conquer, when you start in big territories you don't stand a chance, because of no income bonuses. So, this is imbalanced in a way of luck and better starting grounds.

Have a grudge you want to settle? Small Earth Board Map is the go-to map for a quick 1v1 and developed by Lionheart himself, too. The one and the only. The map is an improvement on the original but one thing to note is, to unlock SE Board Map, players currently have to be level 7 which is too high imo. This has got to be one of the most popular maps on Warzone and for the audience, it's one of those maps you love to hate. Cherish your victories.

The completely random and unconnected spawning, the AI's preference for focusing on the Human player, and the lack of singular defensible points in the map layout means any success on this map is dependent on said random spawn locations, and luck in attacking. I failed dozens of times until I got both a good spawn and luck in my first couple attacks and then steamrolling the entire map was effortless.

Hello. Honestly, I much prefer the old "Small Earth" design, which is still visible on the website. Mostly because it's more intuitive. There is a big army calculation problem. On turn 2 I gifted AI2 Ontario. Somehow it placed 3230 armies on Ontario (and nowhere else) on turn 3 when it should only have at most 2000 armies available for placement since it did only 1 territory capture in the previous two turns (on turn 2) and placed on other territories all 2000 armies earned through continent ownership. The most I should have seen in Ontario was 2000 armies.
