I first thought "Hey, here's another ripoff", and... it is! However, it's a ripoff that does nothing but improve WN2014. Here are the things I liked about it:
- More convenient territories for historical scenarios
- Country bonuses to make scenario-making easier
- Nicer art
- Fixed the spelling mistakes! (THANKS)
- Didn't overemphasise Africa
- Nice new connections and islands
I didn't like:
- No credit to {rp} pedrito or BUFFALO
- Didn't fix Romania, the most horribly broken territory in WN2014
- Taiwan as part of China; really?
- Still has Gibraltar
- America has even more territories
- Sheet of ice "Greenland" given 5 territories

Great successor to WN14, I love the more realistic borders from the previous blocky ones in 12 and 14, Overall plays very well, now time to wait for World Nations 2018!

I'm the maker of WN14, which was just an updated version of WN12. I love this map , although I have come suggestions to improve it.
- Make the background darker, it's too bright. It's too distracting. Maybe a dark-grey-blue.
- Please give Iran 1-2 more territories. It deserves it.
- Shrink Greenland, it doesn't need so many territories.

The vast majority of problems in the past versions of WN maps have not been fixed (superchokepoint enclaves (Kuala Lumpur fixed, but a new one was added in Greenland), low value of europe, some rough and awfully gory borders (some got worse, like cairo), lack of proper splitting in Eastern Europe).
A couple countries got completely downgraded (Yemen, France, Turkey, Brazil). Islands are excessive (Antartica? Really?).
Positives? Well, slightly bigger and more manual-distribution friendly after splitting a couple ones. Map art is a good idea, but it's triggering my OCD since the globe is kinda cut on the western corner.
Overall, better than WN2012, but a downgrade from WN2014, honestly. Also worth noting that Western Kazakhstan is accounted as Asia, when in reality it's west of the Urals.
A couple months ago maybe this would've been better, when a good diplo map of the world was needed, but Imperator and Belgian's recent releases outclass the simplicity of this map easily. Voting 4 'cause can't give a 3.5.

5/5...This map is exciting and addictive, beautiful and full of new original connections, such as the North Pole. even as a map to diplomatic games can also be used in strategic games with teams.
Congratulations, Cata!

Average Warlight map. Did not run into any missing connections ( that's a good thing).

I like that this is the medium size for the every territory has a bonus, of the world, though because of the closeness of some of the territories it was hard to see some of them.

that is a nice map. Every territory is a bonus, so you can change a lot (strategically) by changing the outputs.
Also nice: there’re a lot of islands and different routes through the oceans.
Only big flaw (bug) is the territory:
RIBABERIKI KIRIBATI in the southeast pacific (western on the map). This island is a „black hole“. You can send troops there, but they will stuck there forever, because you can’t click on this field. You find it in the iformation of the neighbour-islands, but that’s it.
...nevertheless, this is a very cool map!
