This map provied a good game for people living locally in Hong Kong. As the place is some where they familiar with, they feel very close and more realistic. There are still some disadvatages about this mapy. There are some place name not correct or too simple. If those name could be channged, it will be 100% perfeted. But any way, it is good enough already!

The Place name is named by Chinese so it is chinese transliteration to English.
Example: 柴灣 's English name is named by The indigenous inhabitants of Hong Kong ,so it transliteration to Chai Wan.
中環 's English name is named by Britain ,so it called Central.
Some names is simple because it's transliteration name is less letters
Example: 大澳 's English name is named by The indigenous inhabitants of Hong Kong ,so it transliteration to Tai O.
The name I follow the Government elections partition to type ,if I type wrong, it mean the Government type wrong.

This map offers a lot of strategical options, and a lot of variance in the games you play. Starting at a different position can entirely change the way you play the the game on this map. It's very well balanced, meaning you can start from many different positions and still win.

Good map but there are places where you can attack when there is NO visual indications that you can - for example Tin Wan and South Horizons East. There are several others. Otherwise good.

Very entertaining.
A bit messy. But charming. Just like Hong Kong itself.
Very accurate names for the locations.

This map sports a fascinating combination of huge territories and numerous tiny territories clustered together in compact neighborhoods. The result requires far more strategic play than your standard expand-and-conquer map. Very nicely done.

Other than the missing connections for some of the islands, this is a really good map. Try a 6 player FFA and you will have a blinder of a game.
