If you could tell where the hell the bonuses are on this map it would be pretty good. Wastelands are necessary due to the map being a featureless blob.

I actually think this is a fine map. The MAJOR problem it has is that the bonuses within each super-region are all the same color. For example, every bonus area in the Capital region is light green. This makes it impossible to see each bonus area at a glance and without looking at the key to the bottom right. All you need to do is to give each individual bonus region a different color. Please do this and I think you will see the map's rating rise quickly.
