Everyone else is talking about how smart and we'll designed the map is, but I suck at this game. So I'll just say this: the map is absolutely stunning. With a brilliant mesh of 3d and 2d styles all while still managing to look clean and readable. It says a lot when my only complaint is that I wish there was more of it 6295/6295.

Such a great map. Great eye for details.
Really realistic to how the map looks in the books/shows.

Especially love the Casterly Rock and Lannistport part. Also loving the small councils and the additions for the Iron Bank and the Golden Company.

As everyone else says, most excellent visuals.
In structure, it does resemble older maps: Dameon's with respect to the "Combined House" bonus for all the towns in each kindgom, Kheimon's regarding the ships. I liked the new features (Unsullied, Golden Company, etc.), but I think there are too many of them in Essos (2 or at most 3 would be plenty).
The play does not quite measure up to older GOT maps (esp. Dameon's and Kheimon's). For such a big map, the lack of regional sub-bonuses (that Limalia's map has) weakens the strategies.
It's also quite unbalanced. For example, Reach has 102 territories, 136 income (1.3/territory) and it's also more exposed, Crownlands has 44 and 70 (1.6/territory), but Braavos has 16 and 35 (2.2/territory).
But all in all, not a bad map at all. 4/5

A beautiful map that has a ton going on! So many bonuses can be a bit confusing but goodness I love this map. My favorite in the game so far!

Pretty enjoyable but also pretty frustrating. Some of the areas I don't think are balanced in troops per turn. Definitely worth a play especially if you are a fan of the show.
