280 Total armies.
Played with 6 players and it runs okay; a little sluggish at times.
Lack of waterways leaves a slog across the land.
There are several places on the map where 2 adjoining territories cannot attack each other.
Otherwise, its generally a decent map.

Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind for the next (arguably) Scottish rock.

This map is great for educational purposes, but lacks detail.
Its clearly missing the research outpost that I can see in 1 of the 250 pictures I just googled. It's also lacking pebbles and bird poop.
I tried to rate the map 5/5 pebbles, but couldnt find any to rate with, so you can have 5 stars.

I'm not a fan of jagged maps to begin with, but even so this map is not a great one. It's missing several connections and the territory shapes lead to odd army tracks. The bonuses were fine. Overall it seems rushed in its creation with more time spent on the researching of the type of granite the island is composed of than its own playability.
